Thank you for your interest in Northeast Behavioral Health Center. The clinicians at Northeast BHC emphasize the use of empirically supported, evidence-based approaches to treatment. Services offered include comprehensive evaluation and individual/family therapy within the behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness theoretical frameworks. The providers at Northeast BHC have been trained in treatments to address a wide range of psychological and behavior concerns. Several providers specialize in diagnosis and treatment of neuro-developmental diagnoses (such as an Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, and Learning Disorders), taking additional considerations into account when working with children who have those co-occurring challenges. We are also trained in trauma-informed approaches to treatment. It is our goal to use our comprehensive understanding and knowledge of complex psychological conditions so that we can tailor our approach to treat concerns that are interfering with optimal adjustment and life satisfaction. Providers at Northeast BHC also have experience working with adults.

Moreover, we make every effort to use a holistic approach when working with clients by collaborating with parents, teachers, pediatricians, occupational or speech therapists, tutors and other supports within the individuals environment. Our providers work with clients, and when appropriate, their families and other supports in their lives to find practical approaches that can be incorporated into everyday life.
